This course is required for any person who wishes to analyze asbestos air samples onsite. The course will also provide students the ability to properly collect air samples including calibration of air sampling pumps. The course includes 2 days of hands on training with microscopes, including calibration, resolution testing, understanding all parts of the microscope, trouble shooting, sample preparation, reference sample reading, fiber counting, and other topics.
Trainee(s) may receive a full refund if their registration is cancelled prior to the start of a program. If a program is in progress, no refunds will be issued if trainee(s) withdraw from class. A credit may be issued on a case-by-case basis.
